Shannon here: Valerie Comer shares insight into her characters’ romance from her latest release, Snowflake Tiara: a 2-in-1 Christmas collection featuring a historical romance novella by Angela Breidenbach and a contemporary romance novella by Valerie Comer. Answer the question at the end of the post for a chance to win an e-book copy in E-pub or Kindle format. Deadline: Sept 20th, 11:59 pm central time. Here’s Valerie:
- Where is the most romantic place your hero and heroine have ever been?
Paris, Milan, Rio de Janeiro. You name it, if it’s a world fashion center, they’ve been there. After all, Marisa modeled for the top names, and Jase has been a freelance photographer for the same companies. That was before, however, and this is now. Now she’s an organic farmer, and he’s got a small studio in downtown Helena, Montana. Is there any romance to be found there?
- Do your hero and heroine have as favorite romantic restaurant?
Ah, yes. Lucci’s Italian Restaurant in Helena. Perfecto.
- What simple gesture does your heroine do that melts your hero every time?
She’ll get right down at eye level and talk to any child. An orphan or a princess, she doesn’t care. She’s passionate about a better world for all kids. The fact that Jase’s niece and nephew adore Marisa doesn’t hurt at all.
- How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?
Weeks, maybe only days. But then came the argument to end all arguments, right in front of the luggage carousel at JFK. So, obviously she was wrong. She can’t trust her judgment.
- Who is most romantic, your hero or your heroine?
The hero. Jase is determined to win Marisa back. He scarcely dared believe God has given him a second chance. Nothing will go wrong this time. Flowers? Candlelit dinners? The opera? She’s got it.
- Who said, “I love you” first, your hero or your heroine?
Jase. He’s the one who had the heartbreaking words to UNsay from their past. He’s the one who had to prove that she could trust him now.
