  • Shelia Hall says:

    no I haven’t been a mentor

  • Thank you for having me, Shannon.

  • Glad to have you Margaret. For the question: my husband used to be a youth director, so we’ve been mentors in that capacity. It was exhausting. And out of 30 kids, I’d say 3 have made us proud.

  • Janet Estridge says:

I volunteer in the church library and have for 37 years. When we get new volunteers I show them the “ropes” so to speak so I guess you could say that I am a mentor.

  • KayM says:

Yes, I have mentored a few younger women and a couple of men. I usually felt good about the results. One exception that made me very sad–she was excellent in the job, but had a very quirky personality. Most considered her odd. I didn’t think her “weirdness” interfered with the great job she was doing, but sadly I was in the minority. She never did get a job in my field.

I have a winner! KayM won the drawing. I appreciate Margaret for being my guest and everyone else for stopping by.
