Interview with Janna – heroine from Surrendered Love by Laura V. Hilton:

  • What’s the most romantic thing your hero ever did for your heroine?

He bought me a milkshake when I needed one.

  • What’s the most romantic present your hero ever bought your heroine?

He went into Build-A-Bear and bought me a bear.

  • How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?

I always knew he was the one. We grew up together and I loved him since I was old enough to have feelings.

  • Who is most romantic, your hero or your heroine?

Troy is the most romantic.

  • What is the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?

He made it a point to be there when I needed him – he even took care of my daed when he was injured.

  • Who said, “I love you” first, your hero or your heroine?

Troy said I love you first. In many ways.

  • If your hero and heroine end up married, where will they go on their honeymoon?

We’re  Amish.  We’ll go to my parents’ house – first.  And then visit other relatives.

About the book – Surrendered Love: Janna Kauffman loves grocery shopping for the homebound in her Amish community. When Janna’s sister washes her hands of her rebellious daughter, Meghan, and sends her to live with her Amish relatives, Janna is spending less time shopping and more time explaining Meghan’s actions to police officer Hiram “Troy” Troyer. Formerly Amish Troy becomes a regular part of Janna and Meghan’s lives as Meghan continues to act out due to her Englisch mother’s rejection. Could God tame a headstrong teenager and help Janna and Troy find love in the midst of it all?
