1. What’s the most romantic present your spouse ever bought for you?
The FIRST gift he ever gave me was a charm bracelet the Christmas after our first date, so I guess that makes it the most romantic one.
2. What is the most caring thing your spouse has ever done for you?
He used to go out and warm my car for me before I left for school early in the mornings. He also kept gas in the tank for me. I was commuting a long distance, leaving early and returning late. So it was a caring and wonderful way to help me.
3. Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?
Little Rock, Arkansas
4. Where is the most romantic place your hero and heroine have ever been?
The movies during the Great Depression.
5. How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?
She had known him all her life and cared about him as a girl. But they had parted in anger when he resisted her efforts to lead him to Christ. When they reunite years later, the attraction is still there. But can they bridge their differences and find love?
6. What’s the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?
When he finds out that she sold her bicycle in order to buy her little sister a piano for Christmas, he buys it back for her.
About Helen: Helen Gray grew up in a small Missouri town and married her pastor. While working alongside her husband in his ministry, she had three children, taught school, became an amateur ventriloquist and directed/accompanied church music programs. Now that she is retired and the children are grown, she has resumed the writing she began when they were small.
Her stories are meant to honor God and depict Christian lives and problems as she knows and observes them. If her writing in even a small way touches others, she considers it a blessing and thanks God for the opportunity.
