Hush Little Baby by Deborah Piccurelli Deborah Piccurelli

1. What’s the most romantic thing your hero ever did for your heroine?

Every year on my birthday, Evan makes my favorite breakfast, Belgian waffles, and serves them to me in bed.

2. What’s the most romantic present your hero ever bought your heroine?

Evan gave me a tennis bracelet as a gift, once. It’s very plain, but it goes with everything. I love it mostly because it came from him, and I always wore it, even after we separated.

3. What simple gesture does your hero do that melts your heroine every time?

Evan is very territorial, but in a good way. He makes me feel cherished.

4. Who is most romantic, your hero or your heroine?

I have to admit that Evan is more romantic than I am.

5. What is the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?

He fought to save my life and the life of our child.

  • My favorite breakfast food is eggs with sausage, onions and mushrooms mixed in with lots of cheese on top. Don’t forget the coffee.

  • Vicki Marney says:

My favorite breakfast food is an egg white omelette with ham, plenty of cheese, mushrooms & a little onion, well done. Then add a little more cheese to the top for appearance sake. Mmm.

Another favorite is fried eggs over easy, medium. Yep, it’s hard to tell the person who takes my order, but I like them cooked quick, so the yolk stays runny, but the whites must be cooked–takes practice. It has to be hot enough to cook the whites, still leaving the yolk runny, because I don’t like cooked yolks–yeah I know, I’m pretty crazy. Then when I eat it, I have to have toast to dip in the yolk (& I eat the egg whites first.

I also love crispy hash browns with either. Mmm.

I love scrambled eggs , bacon ,hash browns and toast

  • Lori Weller says:

I love french toast. It’s something reserved for holiday’s and special days like birthdays.

  • Wow, you are all making me hungry, right now!

Vicki, I also love fried eggs over easy with runny yolks, and then dipping in the toast. But I eat my yolks first, so any extra that bleeds out just goes on the whites, and I can get every drop!

Lori, I love French toast, too! But instead of making my own for special days, I use the Aunt Jemima Cinnamon French toast and eat it just about every other day with pure maple syrup. Mmmm!

I have to admit, all of the above varieties of breakfast sound good to me, though!

  • Y’all are making me gag with the runny eggs. I like my food fully cooked. Scrambled eggs well done. Steak with absolutely no pink.

I rarely eat breakfast for breakfast. I’m not a morning person, so I don’t really like to eat in the morning. I love breakfast foods for lunch. My favorite is bacon and pancakes with peanut butter and Karo syrup on them. But I rarely eat it because of the calories. On rare occasions when we eat out for breakfast, I love crepes with fruit. On a normal day, I have yogurt or a fiber/granola bar.
